Gas Plasma systems for medical applications
Activation, cleaning or applying a functional coating onto a medical device. In the latter case monomer gases are introduced into the low pressure plasma chamber and polymerized on the surface of the plastic. The result is a real coating with permanent effect. The functionality of the coating depends on the precursor gas used.
